What a check costs
Predictable for ordinary papers.
- Standard check (28 credits) covers up to 4 000 content words and 10 figures.
- Above 4 000 words: +0.5 credit per 100 extra words (rounded up).
- Above 10 figures: +1 credit per extra figure.
- 3 free re-checks per paper with purchased credits. Otherwise, and after that, a quarter of the paper’s check price (at least 7 credits).
- Hard cap: 25 000 content words or 50 figures.
- References don’t count. Only your paper’s content is checked.
- Failed checks are never charged.
